One day before our show in Lund, Sweden we were all hanging in Angie’s room when she pulled out her laptop and began to show us videos from her days as Angie B… a rapper/singer with the group “The Sequence”. It’s sad to me because this was one of the first female rap groups, yet they are almost never mentioned when conversations of hip hop and history take place. They were right there along with the Sugar Hill Gang but get no love!
