I found about this little gem from Huffingtonpost.com (I love that website, by the way). Remember that Budweiser commercial with the guys saying “Wassssssuuuuuuuuuuuppppppppp”? If I remember correctly, I think it came around during one of the Superbowls. Well, there is a commercial / short film inspired by that commercial that shows support for Barack Obama. Huffington Post credits Chopshop @ Believe Media for the video. Great job guys! I get it, and it’s a great, great commercial. Keep it up!
Okay, any press is good press? Not necessarily. A lot of cities I have never heard of before are getting major media love these days because of real life ignorance (I say real life, because this is the kind of crap you once only saw in the movies) related to the election. First Wasilla, Alaska and now Ozark, Missouri. Someone posted this ignorant sign embarrassing all of the people of Ozark:
As they say: “The party just don’t stop!” I’m so ready for this election to end. Well, maybe not… cause then I may not have anything to blog about. LOL! I hear all of you that say I’m too political as of late. But hey, this is a very, very important election year and the BS just keeps getting better. Who could ever script this kind of stuff????
Hey, remember when we were growing up and the older people would always say “Treat others the way that you want to be treated”? Well, a couple of decades later for me and I see the truth in it. It’s absolutely hilarious that the McCain campaign has sought to try and diminish Barack Obama by bringing up an association with a guy he shared when he was 8 years old. At the same time, they’re using Palin to try and make an issue again out of the Jeremiah Wright situation. I can’t say that I really blame Palin too much in this situation. It is obvious now more than ever that she is just a role player in the situation and she lacks the judgement or integrity to stand up against McCain. Doesn’t sound like a Maverick VP huh? Anyways. While McCain’s campaign is introducing “guilt by association” into the political atmosphere by suggesting that Obama was palling around with terrorists, let’s look at comes up when we turn the lens back on McCain:
The Keating 5? Questions abound about his judgement concerning economic matters. Maybe this is why he’s trying very hard to distract America away from questions about the economy.
The Huffington Post states that “Since Sunday, Democrats have been buzzing about the re-revelation that during the 1980s, Sen. John McCain served on the board of a far-right conservative organization that had supplied arms and funds to paramilitary organizations in Latin America.” - A radical group that has become “has increasingly become a gathering place, a forum, a point of contact for extremists, racists and anti-Semites”.
And Poor Palin keeps calling Obama a terrorist when she actively participated in events held by an Alaskan secessionist union - could that be considered elitist? Un-Patriotic? Borderline terrorism? Check out the video:
