What Can Brown Do For You?

According to the Associated Press, Kramer is running damage control on his party from the other day.
So, he went out and hired a public relations expert with deep contacts in the black community. Kramer’s publicist says: “Michael apologized profusely. He wants to heal the tremendous wound that he’s inflicted on the American public, and on the African-American community…”
And, this is no lie, they’ve contacted Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. I don’t remember having an election and voting those dudes the official representatives of black community. I’m going to leave Kramer alone and throw the attention to something else - Question, are these dudes really relevant to today’s black community, or are they opportunists that only take on high profile black cases? I only see these cats when something big is brewing. Tell me what you think.

I know! One thing people don’t realize is that they get money from the gov. as well. They are FEDERALLY FUNDED just like everyone else. Don’t you think if your check is coming from Uncle Sam he isn’t going to tell you exactly when and where he wants you to “DO YOUR THING”? The best way to control a person is to reach into their pocket so the real question is do we really have anyone to be a voice for our community? They all are being paid in one way or another and that is why you only see them on high profile cases. That is when the “man” has deemed it ok for them to make their public debut to make the masses have this warm fuzzy feeling about them as our voice. I agree with you, I don’t remember voting these men as my voice either. If I have to have them as my voice I would much rather speak for myself.
