I’m sitting here watching Michael Richards, aka Kramer, apologize for is racial tirade on David Letterman and it all just seems like a bunch of crap. He keeps calling us Afro Americans, as if he prepared for this interview by watching some 70′s blaxploitation flicks, and if that term is correct, then I have some homeboys that would now like to be referred to as “Mohawk Americans” and I know this one chick that has now become a “Mullet American”. Somehow, he was clever enough to weave in some crap about raising money for Hurricane Katrina victims…it was totally irrelevant to the issue at hand and did nothing to help his case. It was as if he hired some bad writers and they just gave him a keyword list and was like… use these, look stupid and pitiful, and say over and over “I’m not a racist”.
The interview is so preposterous that even the audience is laughing. Both Jerry and Kramer admonish them to stop. He was also clever enough to avoid a question that inquired as to how he would have responded if he had been heckled by someone of another race.
Kramer my friend, you should have just done like everyone else and just hired someone to release an official apology through your PR people. It would have at least appeared to be more sincere and you could have continued to be a closet racist. Good luck with this one.

Yeah, you are right! This has been the year of spinners! Everyone has twisted a story into something that it wasn’t but you can tell he actually came up with that pitiful apology himself. He should have hired one of those writers that have been spining stories for our elected officials (especially the one who holds the highest office!). I am glad he didn’t get a writer to write that crap b/c it goes to show how he really feels and that he is not the least bit sincere about what he did wrong. Hopefully everyone will see him for who he really is and how he really feels b/c he basically told everyone that he was angry and said how he really feels about “Afro Americans”. In my opinion his apology was just an overt way of him saying, “I can talk about you “N” and do a shuck and jive and everything should be ok”. If his career continues it will be sad b/c Mel Gibson did a film about the truth (which I might add was not done to offend)and he has been paying for it and if Kramer can continue like nothing happened than that will show the state of the world today.
